Cryptocurrency has its on-again-off-again affairs with public attention, but underneath the shiny NFTs and the tokens, the original cryptocurrency has silently and slowing creating an alternate payment system. If you have tried to accept Bitcoin into your physical or eshop a few years ago, it was slow and clunky. Now however, with the advancement of the Lightning Network for Bitcoin and its ecosystem, this alternative is worth another look. However, this talk is not a crypto shill talk, there are some still practical challenges which I will discuss. My first blog on bitcoin was in February 2012 and I’ve used in my business and I’ve even hacked a few hardware wallets, so if you are a crypto-pro or crypto-curious, all are welcome at this talk!
