About Founded in FoCo
Founded in FoCo is a four-day conference where people teach each other business skills. It brings together creatives, freelancers, solopreneurs, founders, nonprofit leaders, and established business owners from Fort Collins and Northern Colorado.
History of Founded in FoCo
The first Startup Week Fort Collins was held, and was run as a for-profit venture for two years.
The event was rebooted with help from local business leaders, the Innosphere, Colorado State University, and the City of Fort Collins to become a non-profit event with official licensing from Techstars.
We ushered our brand renewal as Founded in FoCo to celebrate the diverse entrepreneurial spirit of our community.
Three programs, one neighbor
All three are programs of Howdy Neighbor Events, our 501(c)(3) parent organization.
Volunteers, with advisors from across the community
Founded in FoCo is run by an organizing team of volunteers, with advisors from across the community.
